Mr. Ashok Kumar Gupta was enrolled in the Bihar State Bar Council on 22nd December 1981 and started practice as an advocate.

On 25th March 1985, he joined the Government of India's oldest Public Sector Bank, incorporated under an Act of Parliament, as a Law Officer.

He worked as a Law Officer in the said Bank for over 29 years and 3 months. Over the course of his professional career in law, Mr. Gupta dealt with intricate issues pertaining to diverse fields of law, including drafting, vetting of legal documents & pleadings, and appearances before various Courts and Tribunals.

He is an active member of the Advocates’ Association, Patna High Court .
